APPS, Irene Passed away peacefully at the Parkview Nursing Home on June 24th in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Sid, and her son Sid, Jr. Loving mother to Ed (Norma), David, and Doreen (Larry) Moncur. Proud Gramma to John, Maria, Cameron, Mark, Kathryn, Grace, and Great-Gramma to Anita, Julie, and Noah. She had been an active member at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, and worked many years running the lunch room at Ainsley Woods School. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to her doctors and care givers for all their help and compassion over the last 6 years. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME “Swackhamer Chapel”, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Tuesday, June 27th from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 28th at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 1140 King Street West, Hamilton at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton.
