SMEATON, James C. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Saint Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton, ON in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Rosemary (Swayze) for 46 years. Loving father of Barbara and Lisa. Brother of Betty Jenkins and Ada Van Den Berg. Predeceased by his parents James Smeaton and Marjorie Muir. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be announced at a later date. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at both the Haldimand War Memorial and Peter’s hospitals for their compassionate care of Jim.
