Jim passed away peacefully on August 20, 2016 at the age of 86, enveloped in the love of his family near and far. Beloved husband for 64 years to the late Louise (nee Santoro). Loving father of Linda (Stephen) Mills, Patricia (Jeffery) Smith and Nancy (David) Peterson. Proud grandfather of Kristin (Troy), Robyn (Cailean), Gregory (Stephanie), Stephen, Michael and Jacquelyn. Special great-grandfather of Julia, Matthew and Maël. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, Toronto, on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the Chapel on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
