JAMES I. GILMOUR It is with great sadness that the family of James I. Gilmour announces his passing peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Margaret for 55 years. Loving father of Gordon (Lois), Jamie (Vikki) and Heather (Dean). His love for aviation and tenure at de Havilland Aircraft gave him an honoured career of 35+ years. Jim’s love for sports included playing semi professional soccer and hockey in his native Scotland and continued when he immigrated here to Canada. His involvement continued when he became the Medical Trainer for many teams both in soccer and hockey. He will be forever missed by his eight grandchildren Katie (Byran), Rob, Garett (Clara), Logan, Ryan, Jake, Allysha and Quentin and great-grandchildren Scotlyn and Heath. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family in Scotland, friends near and far. Please join us for a celebration of Jim’s life on Saturday, November 12th at 1:00 p.m. at Carruthers Creek Golf and Country Club, 650 Lakeridge Rd. S., Ajax.
