JAMES (JIM) DEVANEY Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital with his family by his side on August 6, 2016. Jim will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife, Vindra and step-daughter Natasha; brother Kevin, his wife Lucia, his nieces Johanna (Mike), Julie (Blair) and Rebecca and sister-in-law Maria. Great-niece and nephew (Francesca and Raphael) and his many cousins and relatives in Manchester, England. Special thanks to Dr. Albert Kirshen and Dr. Charles Catton. Funeral arrangements will be held as follows at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham: Visitation: Friday, August 12th, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 13th, 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. Service: Saturday, August 13th, 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted for The Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care at Mount Sinai Hospital.
