GOULET, Jean-Guy Donat “Uncle Guy” June 20, 1934 – June 30, 2017 It is with great sadness we announce that Jean-Guy passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 83. Jean-Guy was an employee of Stelco for over 35 years (Hamilton Canada Works and Brantford). He was an outdoor enthusiast who loved to fish, hunt and camp. He was a committed family man who loved and cherished his family! He was predeceased by his beloved, beautiful wife Rachel (Beaudet) Goulet 2002, of 43 years marriage and his loving daughter Carole (Goulet) Hamelin 2016. Survived by his longtime loving companion Anita Zytaruk of 14 years. How lucky of him to have found love and have been loved so deeply twice in his lifetime. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family, Nicole and Keith Wilson, Joanne Goulet, Guylaine and James Burrows and Roger Hamelin. His grandchildren Kyle Wilson and Michelle Bryant, Michael Wilson and Sherri Beckerson, Alexandra Hamelin and Andrew Hamelin will especially miss him. He was fortunate to know his great-grandchildren Joel and Jordan Bryant and his precious Olivia Wilson. A funeral service to take place on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at OUR LADY OF THE ANGELS CEMETERY, 681 Mud Street, Stoney Creek, followed by a “Celebration of Life” at 2:00 p.m. at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION, 435 Limeridge Road East, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Peter’s Hospital, Pallitive Care unit, Hamilton. “Gone Fishing!”
