ZAHACHEWSKY, Jerry William It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jerry on Friday, September 1, 2017. Jerry was predeceased by his parents John and Anastasia Zahachewsky. Survived by his brother Alex (Cathy) and his sister Donna (Walter), missed by his nieces Lesia (Joe) and Juliann and nephews Steven (Lyndsay) and Michael and by Chroina and Winston. Over the years, Jerry has worked at Active Electronics, The Source and most recently at Dollarama. Visitation will be held at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home , 1774 King St. E. on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with panahyda held at 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home’s chapel followed by interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
