t is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jim Jones on February 20, 2017 at Peel Manor at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Marlene (Harris) , his wife of 58 years. Loving father to his children Cindy, Lynda (Stephen), Connie (Ronnie), Jamie (Mike) and Jim Jr. He was also a cherished and much loved Grandfather to Tonia (Tony), Amy (Corey), Kim (Trevor), Michael (Tara), Tiffany (Cory). He was also adored by his great grandchildren Tia, Alexa, Brooklyn and Cameron. He was proud to be godfather to his nephew Jeff Hewitt. Jim was survived by Brother Bill (Karen) and Sister Anne Marie. Pre deceased by his Mother Mary and Brothers Dennis and Bob. Jim will also be sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews as well as by friends and large extended family. The family would like to take this time to say many thanks to the loving and caring staff of Peel Manor Long Term Care.Family and friends may gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre at 8190 Dixie Road in Brampton on Sunday, February 26th from 11am-2pm, immediately followed by a service in the chapel of the funeral home. Jim was loved in life and will never be forgotten.
