ATTERSLEY, Joan Marilyn (nee EVANS) Surrounded by family, Joan passed away peacefully and with grace at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, in her 85th year after a brief and unexpected illness. Beloved partner of Sandy Air and mother of Janice Lea Attersley (Wayne Roberts) and Gordon Thomas Attersley, Joan was the loving grandmother (Nana) of Jamal, Natasha and Lynn, as well as her precious companion dog “Dunnie.” She is survived by her sisters-in-law Norma Stone (Art) Stone and Carleen Attersley, as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
