João (John) CIPRIANO
CIPRIANO, João (John) Peacefully departed in his 90th year on Thursday, April 6, 2017, surrounded by his devoted children: Zelia McDonald, Teresa Dunham (Art) and John Cipriano Jr. (Alice). João was born in Relva, São Miguel, Açores in 1927 and immigrated to Ontario in 1956. He is predeceased by his loving wife Maria Fortunáta, brothers and sisters. He was the proud Avô to Terri McDonald-Dagenais (Trevor), Tim McDonald (Natalie) and Rene Cipriano and loving great-grandfather to Maya, Alayna and Tyler. He will also be missed by his brother Serafin, many nieces, nephews and their families as well as life long friends. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of Orchid Garden at St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas. Friends will be received at DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME , 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 200 Mount Albion Road, Hamilton on Saturday, April 8th 2017 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
