Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the age of 67. Devoted husband of Shelley for 40 wonderful years. Adored Dad of John (Kim) and Jeff (Sara). Beloved Grandpa of Noah, Owen and Eliza. Doug proudly served with the Toronto Police for 32 years. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will take place at JERRETT FUNERAL HOME, 660 Kennedy Rd., Scarborough on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 12-1 p.m. followed by a service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Donations in Memory of Doug may be made to Sunnybrook Foundation – Schulich Heart Centre.
