RILEY, John Arthur Entered into rest, peacefully on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Anson Place, Hagersville, in his 90th year. Beloved husband to Mary Jane (nee Bartlett) for 15 years. Predeceased by his first wife, Joyce (nee Jackson) and his son Barry. Loving father to Cindy and dear grandfather of Ryan. Great-grandfather of Shelby, Brayden and Aaron. Step-father to Barb Gee (Dick), Jim Phibbs (Barb), Nancy Harju (Sandy), Karl Phibbs (Marion) and Darlene Johnson (Cam). Step-grandfather of eleven and step-great-grandfather to 19. Predeceased by step-children Steve and Troy. John is survived by his sisters, Bernice Spittal (Glen, deceased), Maude Connelly (Sam), Lucy Link (Vern), June Riley-Barbour (Bryant) and Joan Brown (David). Predeceased by his sister Ruth Smith and her husband Lyall and his brother Willie. John will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held in the Miller Funeral Chapel, Cayuga, on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The service will take place in the Hagersville Baptist Church, on Friday, March 17 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at 3 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery, Cayuga.
