DeFLORIO, John —
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our loving and much loved brother John Mathew DeFlorio. After many months of battling a host of health issues, John’s long and difficult fight ended peacefully at the Toronto Western Hospital on January 6, 2017 at the age of 71. Preceeded by his parents Mathew and Mary DeFlorio, John will be deeply missed by his brother Rudy (Valerie) DeFlorio, sister Anita (Ted) Garramone, nephews Neal, Christopher, Shawn and niece Jennifer. Special thanks to all the staff at the John Gibson House, the Toronto Western Hospital and his caregiver Cynthia, all of whom took exceptional care of John. Visitors may call at the SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga on Friday, January 13 from 9-10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at St Joseph’s Parish, 5440 Durie Road, Mississauga at 11 a.m. Cremation.
