OTT, John Everett Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice on August 21, 2017 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Carol Patrica Ott (nee Reid) for over 53 years. Cherished father of Nancy (Wesly), Gary (Roma) and Rebecca (Darcy). Proud grandfather of Christine, James, Krissy, Jesse, Felicia (Dimirti), Autumn, Amber, Meagan, Treena, Trisha, Dennis John and Jennifer and great-grandfather of Thomas, Skylar, Joshua, Nico and Mayla. Predeceased by his parents Henry Everett Ott and Charlotte Winnifred Ott (nee Jones). Dear brother of the late Herbie (Jean), the late Norman, the late Lorne (Hils) and Frank (Anna). He is survived by his brothers-in-law Bruce (Gloria), Gordon (Pam) and sister-in-law Elaine (the late Stan). Loved by many nieces and nephews. John will be fondly remembered by his lifelong friends Kenny and Vanessa Ambo. The family will receive friends at DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home, ROBINSON CHAPEL, (King Street East at Wellington), Hamilton, 905-522-2496, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 28th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
