JOHN GILBERT TURNER May 9, 1933 – June 2, 2017 Gone to be with his true love, Pat, who he missed every day since she passed in 2001. John passed away at his residence at the age of 84. Father of Michael and his wife Carla and the late Dale Bonnar (Bruce); grandfather (Grumps) of Lisa Wagg (Neil), Anthony (Carolyn) and Nicholas (Stephanie); and great- grandfather of Kristen. Brother of Janette Denne (Walt) and the late May Fidler (Fred). Family and friends will be received at the Glendale Funeral Home, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke (416-679-1803), on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 6 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
