GARDNER, John Lonsdale Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, on Saturday, February 11, 2017 in his 91st year, John Gardner, beloved husband of the late Patricia Gardner (1977). Loving father of Anne Gardner and Nigel (Fiona) Gardner, all of Australia. Long time dear friend of Helen Riley, and her daughters Janet (David) Bourbon, Ruth (Russ) Jackson and her grandchildren Riley and John Bourbon and Riley and Virginia Jackson. John was a retired employee of Renold Canada Ltd., where he worked as a Professional Engineer (Mechanical) for 31 years after emigrating from England with his young family in 1958. John will be greatly missed by the two families and all those who have known him. Family and friends will be received at the McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by a Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
