John Richard Louis IPPOLITO (POLITO)
May 1, 1946 – August 21, 2016
On the morning of Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario, John passed away peacefully in his 70th year. Leaving behind his beloved wife of 46 years, Beverley. Much loved father of Michael (Cindy) and Laura (Gary). Cherished (Bald) Papa to granddaughter Emma. He will be missed by extended family and friends. John will be remembered as one of a kind with a great sense of humour. After working alongside his father in the sporting goods industry he retired enjoying winters in Florida and summers in Bobcaygeon. He was always willing to help a friend; enjoyed a great conversation and loved to cook a great meal for friends and family. A celebration of life will be held at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville) on Thursday, August 25th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in John’s memory to the Pencer Brain Tumor Centre at Princess Margaret Hospital.
