In his 66th year, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Trillium Health Partners – Mississauga. Predeceased by his loving wife Maria Adelina. Dedicated father of Ryan (Maggie), Matthew (Erica) and Marcie (David). Beloved brother to Sister Lina, Adeliade, Joe, Carmo, Cecilia, Goretti, Lino and the late Ines. Proud grandfather of Carter Luis Tavares. John will be fondly remembered by his family and friends. Friends will be received at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst St. (Bathurst and Dundas), Toronto on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. Agnes’ Parish, 15 Grace St., on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 9:30 a.m., followed by burial at Prospect Cemetery
