KEERY, John Thomas March 5, 1943 – October 1, 2017 It is with great sadness we announce his peaceful passing in his 75th year at Credit Valley Hospital after a long battle with cancer with his family by his side. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years Cheryl Keery, sons Ryan (Steph) and Michael (Jenna) and daughter Kristin (Terry Turkleson), Poppa J to Gavin, Hayden, Maggie and Moose. John was a Teacher with the Toronto District School Board and retired in 1997. After retiring he and his wife enjoyed many trips overseas. John has spent many hours on the golf course “trying” to perfect his game. He will be missed by all who met him. Friends and family will be received at the McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home, 114 Main St. E., Milton, ON, 905-878-4452, on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. with the service at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
