JOHN WALLACE GIBSON December 8, 1928 – May 16, 2017 It is with great sadness we announce that John passed away peacefully at home, with his family at his side. John was predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen Diane Gibson, brothers Bill, Les and Gord and his sister Mary. John was also predeceased by his parents Charles Thomas Gibson and Ellen Eva Gibson from Newcastle, Ontario. John will be greatly missed by his son John Gordon and his wife Shannon and his two grandchildren Ayden and Addison. John was an avid sports fan and made his own mark in sports history winning all Ontario Junior Hockey Championships with the Orono Orphans. A private family interment will be held at St. George’s Cemetery in Bowmanville on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.
