JOSEPH ANTHONY PARCO Peacefully passed away on April 10, 2017 after a brief illness. He was born in Timmins on January 10, 1930. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee McElrea), loving father of Lynne (Stu), Anne (Greg) and Patti (Brian). Cherished grandfather of Kyle (Yean), Ben, Mark, Ryan, Drew, Marlee and Jenna. Proud great- grandfather to Marcus and Matteo. Joe’s love for his family was unrivalled and he has left behind many treasured memories of vacations, birthdays and also the Friday night cocktail hour when family arrived for the weekend. His “joie de vivre” was contagious as he never passed up an opportunity to chat with people in the neighbourhood, out for dinner or when travelling. He will be fondly remembered for his caring, compassion, welcoming home, his smile, gregarious nature and zest for life. Friends may visit at Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 2 p.m. with interment and refreshments to follow.
