Peacefully at Westhill Retirement Residence in Waterloo on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Paula Bandl. Loving father of Joseph and his wife Jeannette and William. Dear grandfather of Austin, Olivia, Chase, Noah, Samantha and Luke. Sadly missed brother of Maria and Otto Bladek, Johanna Pauly. Brother-in-law of Michael Thek and Maria Hacker. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Joe “Sepp” was an avid hunter and fisherman and a long standing member of The Hubertus Rod and Gun Club. Resting at Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (east of Keele) where family and friends may visit on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow.
