JULIA (TOMMIE) LUET September 10, 1918 – June 27, 2016 Julia Luet, nee Thoms, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on June 27, 2016. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank A. Luet and leaves behind her four children, Frank D. A. Luet (Catherine), Beth A. Luet, Ford P. W. Luet (Peggy) and Barbara G. Allan (John). She also leaves behind her grandchildren who were much loved and of whom she was very proud: Jessica, Mason, Taylor, Paige, Tori, Melanie and Caitlin. She is survived by her brother Ford Thoms, three sisters-in-law: Mamie Thoms (wife of Ford), Shirley Thoms (wife of Fred) and Elaine Luet (wife of Phillip) and many loving nieces and nephews. Mom touched many lives and was loved by and an inspiration to all who knew her. According to her wishes there will be no formal funeral service, simply a celebration of her life for family and friends to be held at the Scarboro Golf and Country Club, 321 Scarborough Golf Club Road, on Sunday, July 24th, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or War Amps would be appreciated.
