BIRCHALL, June Ann After a brief illness, June passed away on June 14, 2019.
To honour her wicked sense of humour, here’s what she’d say for herself: If you must know, I died. Should anyone wish to know how old I was, tell them it’s none of their business. I will definitely not be described as warm and affectionate.
Truth is I was feisty and opinionated but my close friends also say I was funny, loyal and generous. What I hope I am remembered for is being an excellent Reg. Nurse who ensured the best care for my patients.
To my family, Judith, Thomas, Meredith and Rhys, I love you and be good…but not too good. Gotta run, my beloved late husband, Dr. Tom Birchall, is waiting for me.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Hamilton Public Library, Dundas branch.
And no memorials please, I think they are simply dreadful affairs. Ta for now.
