DONNISON, Kathy (nee McDonald) Peacefully, on November 14, Kathy passed away at the young age of 57 after a short but intense battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Survived by her loving husband Andy. Loved mother of only daughter Kelly (Justin) Mencfeld. Nana will be deeply missed by her granddaughters, known as her whole world, Juliet and Summer. Cherished sister of Terry (Sharon), Debbie, Doug (Anna) and Allan. She is now at peace and reunited with her sister Joanne and parents Harry and Betty (nee Falconer) McDonald. Kathy will be missed by many other family members and friends, as well as her pal Kahlua (her dog). We would like to thank all of the staff at Arbour Creek Long Term Care for their compassionate care of mom during this difficult time. Kathy was a long time employee at the LCBO working at many different locations including Caledonia, Cayuga, Waterdown, Jackson Square and the Hamilton Traffic Circle. We will welcome visitors at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton on Wednesday, November 16th, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on November 17th at 11 a.m., reception to follow. Cremation and a private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu, of flowers, a charitable donation to www.curepspcanada.ca to help further research in hopes of finding a cure one day would be greatly appreciated. “Mom: Your memory is a keepsake from which I’ll never part.
