KEMPIJAN (Baliescu), Jon Passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener at the age of 55. Loving Dad to Chantell (Alex) and Rayal. Beloved son of Panta and Juliana Kempijan. Jon will be remembered by his sister Florika, niece Elizabeth (Greg) Subu and uncle Panta Stanciu and all his extended family friends. A special thank you to the nurses and doctors in the ICU at Grand River Hospital for all their care and compassion given to Jon. Jon’s family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2016 and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m on Saturday, July 30, 2016 and again on Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home Sunday night at 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. John the Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church (2150 Bleams Road, Kitchener) on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 10 a.m. Burial at Woodland Cemetery. Reception at the Banat Hall following the burial.
