Peacefully in Orangeville, surrounded by his family, on Monday, August 8, 2016, at the age of 84. Dearly beloved husband of Eugenia for 59 years. Loving father of Helen (Chris) Filis, Gus (Liz), Matoula (John) Valerio, Spiro (Sandy), Sophia (Michael) Doyle and the late Michael. Cherished Papou of the 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Maria Plevritis of Toronto and John of Greece. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard) on Wednesday, August 10th from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Service at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, 136 Sorauren Avenue, on Thursday, August 11th at 11 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.
