GEAR, Lillian Mary December 28, 1927 – July 28, 2017 Lillian passed away early Friday morning. She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Emily, Edith and Joyce (Douglas), her many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, extended family and her many friends. Predeceased by her brothers Bill and Ross. Lillian graduated from the Toronto East General Hospital in 1951 and nursed primarily at the Toronto Western Hospital until her retirement. She was an active member of the Baptist church, a dedicated volunteer for many organizations throughout her retirement years and a caring and loyal friend to many. Her visitation and funeral service will be at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. West (2 stoplights west of Yonge St.). Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1st and the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2nd with a reception to follow. Interment at Prospect Cemetery. Lillian supported many charities and would appreciate donations to Toronto City Mission, Sleeping Children Around the World and Christian Children’s Fund, in lieu of flowers. “Bye for now”
