LINDA JEAN COOPER (née BANNERMAN) died suddenly at home May 29, 2017 at the age of 66. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to parents Jean and George Bannerman, Linda spent much of her childhood growing up in Calgary, Alberta where she developed a love for the mountains. Linda entered the registered nursing program at Toronto Western Hospital, graduating in 1971. Her incredible compassion and empathy perfectly complimented her choice of profession and left lasting impressions on her colleagues and patients at North York General, Strathroy Middlesex General and St. Joseph’s Hospital (London). Linda will be forever missed by husband Michael, son Matthew, his wife Emily, treasured grandson Samuel, sister Brenda (Russ), brother Colin, nephew Nathan, as well as the countless others whose lives were touched by this caring, remarkable woman. A memorial service will be held at the Memorial Funeral Home, 1559 Fanshawe Park Rd. E., London, on Wednesday, June 7th at 1:00 p.m. with visiting to follow until 4:00 p.m. Donations can be made in Linda’s name to the Alzheimer Society of Canada
