VRSALJKO, Ljuba (nee Omazic) Peacefully, surrounded by her family at St. Peter’s Hospital on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the age of 80. Left to mourn is her loving husband of 50 years John, her children; Angela Yurkovic, Andy (Colleen), Steve (Diana), her grandchildren; Tihana Yurkovic, Olivia, Anthony, Emily and Rebecca, her brothers; Tomo (Marina), Niko (Gala), Filip (Ruza), her sisters; Franjka Perkovic, Iva Suca, sister-in-law; Luca, as well as many nieces, nephews, family, Kumovi and friends in Croatia, Bosnia and Canada. Ljuba was led into Heaven by her son Ante, brother Martin and parents Andja and Ivan. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. with Prayers at 7:15 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
