LorraineAnne KIROUAC (nee Gilmore)

KIROUAC, Lorraine Anne (nee Gilmore) Lorraine is predeceased by her loving husband Donald Kirouac, cherished son Marc Kirouac, parents Henry and Cissie Gilmore, and best friend Shirley Weaver-Scime. Lorraine leaves behind long time companion Richard Thomas (Joey, Mandy and Fury) as well as sons Chris and Bill, grandchildren Christopher, Derek, Jake, Jesse, and Krystal, great-grandchildren Brody, Seth, Karley, Hailey, and Makayla. Lorraine also leaves behind her brother and sister-in-law Tom and Sue Kirouac and nephews Michael and Ryan. Lorraine was a member of the Salvation Army Marching Band. Over the years, Lorraine had many jobs in Eatons, Steinbergs, F.C.A, Nethercott Chev, and Carter Chev., then after raising her cherished boys, Lorraine returned to school to become a critical care nurse at the Hamilton General Hospital. A special thank to the paramedics, St. Joseph’s hospital ICU, and the Hamilton General ICU for all of their care. Lorraine’s family will receive friends at the LG WALLACE Funeral Home (151 Ottawa St. N.) 905-544-1147 on Tuesday, September 12th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, September 13th at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Bayview Mausoleum (740 Spring Garden Rd. Burlington). In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Hamilton General, Alzheimer Society, Stroke Recovery, or the Salvation Army.
