LUIGI VINCENZO CHIAPPETTA Peacefully passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016, surrounded by his family in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Maria Chiappetta. Loving father to Giuseppina and Nives and their husbands Gino and Attilio. Brother to the late Michele (Fiorina), Vito (Rita), Pietro (Emilia), Aldo (Maria) and Ferdinando (Giuseppina) and the late Giuseppina Chiappetta. Adored Nonno to Luigi (Giuseppina), Maria (David), Pierina, Cristina, Victoria and Mario. Cherished Bisnonno to Massimiliano, Serena, Carrera and Valentina. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Luigi will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Rd. E., Thornhill (west of Bayview Ave.), from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20 and Thursday, July 21, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
