MADELEINE TERESA ROULEAU (nee QUIRK) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandma and great-grandma Madeleine Teresa Rouleau at the age of 87 on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital. Much loved wife of the late Roger. Loving mother of Robert (Gloria) of North Sydney, NS and Michael (Arlene). Proud grandma to Ryan and Kerri (Craig) Wilcox and great- grandma to Ruby. Predeceased by her sisters Eva, Margaret, Josephine, Gladys, Sue, Agnes and Florence and by brothers Bill, George, Michael, Gervais and Alex. Madeleine will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was a cherished member and longtime volunteer of the Catholic Women’s League, St. Bernadette’s Parish, Ballycliffe Nursing Home, The Red Cross Blood Donor Clinics and St. Vincent’s Kitchen. A visitation will be held at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Rd., Ajax (905-428-8488), on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St Bernadette’s Catholic Church, 21 Bayly St., Ajax. Interment will take place in the town of her birth, North Sydney, NS, in the spring. A heartfelt thank you to the Supportive Care Team at Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital.
