BAIN, Madeline Margaret —
It is with a mix of sadness and smiles we announce that Madeline (Maddy) Bain left for Heaven on August 14, 2016. Predeceased by her husband Winnard and daughter Karen (Jean); survived and missed by Don (Mary), Vince (Gail), John (Judy), Gerald (Carla) and Tim (Mary). She leaves a legacy of love for 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A farewell will be held Wednesday, August 17th, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME, 2570 Danforth Avenue, 416-698-3121. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff at Craiglee Nursing Home for their care, friendship and compassion.
