MALYJ, Rozalia February 10, 1929-September 22, 2016 Roza was born in Polanki, Poland, one of seven children to Maria and Timko Kiebak. Beloved wife of the late John Malyj. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Marie, son-in-law Paul, 3 grandchildren Ivan, Roman and Alexa, siblings Vasyl in Hamilton, Jan and Tekla in Poland, niece Tania and many other relatives in Poland. Visitation will be held at Markey Dermody Funeral Home 1774 King St. E., Hamilton on Thursday, September 29 from 6-9 p.m. with service at 7 p.m. and Friday, September 30 2-4 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, 15 St. Olga St. in Hamilton, on Saturday, October 1 at 10 a.m. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Rd. in Burlington. A special thank you to the staff at the Village of Wentworth Heights for their compassionate care in the late stages of Roza’s illness.
