MCDOUGALL, Marguerite Irene Peacefully at home on Sunday, June 18, 2017 Marguerite Irene McDougall. Predeceased by her parents Dr. and Mrs. Roland M. Clark (nee Jean Eliott Dyment). Dear mother of Sheila of Hamilton, Catherine (Mrs. Keith Kinniburgh) of Bonita Springs, Florida and Nancy of Calgary, Alberta. Predeceased by her daughter Lynn and by her husband Philip. Grand- mother of Christopher Kinniburgh of St. Paul, Minnesota. Descended from pioneer families on both her maternal and paternal sides, she was proud of her heritage and all her life lived up to those high standards instilled in her from childhood. During W.W.II Marguerite served with the Canadian Red Cross (Administration Section). An avid curler, she was a member of The Hamilton Thistle Club. She was active for many years in her beloved Junior League of Hamilton and in The Big Sisters (Shields Group). She lived abroad for several years in Switzerland and Germany and travelled widely, especially enjoying her many trips on the Cunard Queens. For many years Marguerite also pursued a successful real estate career with Alec Murray. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. A private family service will be held at Melrose United Church, The Rev. Dr. Phillip Gardner officiating. Interment Grove Cemetery, Dundas. If desired, memorial donations to OVC PET TRUST, Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, Guelph, ON, N1G 2W1 would be appreciated by the family.
