Maria Leopoldina Arismendi passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday July 12, 2017 at Humber River Regional Hospital. Maria, Beloved wife of the late Luis Alfonso Zapata. Loving mother of William Zapata, Luzmery Zapata, and Luis Alfonso Zapata Jr. Cherished Nina to 7 grandchildren. Maria will also sadly missed by many family and friends in both Canada and Colombia.
The family will receive friends at the JERRETT LIFE CELEBRATION CENTRE, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 7 to 9pm with Parish Prayers at 7:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial with be celebrated at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 2100 Jane Street, North York on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 9:30am followed by cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium.
