MarjorieBernice TIBERT (nee McDonald)

TIBERT, Marjorie Bernice (nee McDonald) January 22, 1922 – August 14, 2017 With love and sadness we announce the death of our Aunt Marjorie “Bub” Tibert, at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton. Daughter of Torquil and Bernice (Kartzmark) McDonald. Predeceased by loving husband Malcom “Mac” Tibert (2012). Also predeceased by sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Mel Brodie. Marjorie will be fondly remembered by niece Louise Brodie of Chatham, nephews Jim (Gayle) Brodie of Chatham and Alex (Greg) Brodie of California, great-niece Lisa (Rob) Browning of Chatham, great-nephew Jeff Brodie of Stoney Creek, and also by great, great’s Amelia, Marshall, and Kara Browning of Chatham. Marjorie enjoyed many pleasurable times over her life. The best was a year spent in Newfoundland volunteering at the great Mission, near an Air Force base in St. Anthony. As a young woman Marjorie volunteered at a social club for the armed forces, where she met her husband Mac. Almost 40 years later they got married! Two weeks before Marjorie got married she retired from 35 years of employment with the Hamilton Board of Education. The family would like to thank the hospital staff who cared for Marjorie in the past months. We appreciate all your efforts. We would also like to thank all of the staff at Carrington Place in Ancaster. Marjorie lived there with Mac for more than 12 years and enjoyed her time immensely. She thought the world of you and considered you as good friends. Bless you and thank you! Marjorie requested acts of kindness such as flowers and a visit to a shut in, donations to the Cancer Assistance Program, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
