Miles Sumalinog PACALDO
PACALDO, Miles Sumalinog Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with brain tumor, on January 28, 2017 at the Juravinski Hospital at the age of 56 years. Miles is survived by his loving wife Juanita; their children, Jefferson, Melissa Pascua (Ryan), Christian (Cathy), Maria Jansel, and Maria Joannes; his grandchildren, Ysabella, Rhea Mae and another grandbaby on the way; and his dog, Pochi. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings from Cebu, Philippines, Prospero, Ursulina, Elvira, Sofia, Dionisia, Vergilio, and Josefina; his many nieces and nephews especially Pamela Smith and her family. He will be greatly missed by many other relatives and friends. Miles was a long time employee at Orlick Industries Limited. He was part of the Couples for Christ Foundation for Family and Life community and a member of the Knights of Columbus where he shared his many talents to help others and share his passion for his faith. A special thanks to Dr. Torres and Dr. Connolly and their staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre for their care and compassion.
