MINERVA JACKSON (nee VanKOUGHNET) Passed away peacefully at Campbell House Hospice with family by her side on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at the age of 96. Minerva was the loving wife of the late Arthur Jackson. Loving mother to Robert Jackson (Margaret) and will be greatly missed by their family. Kind and gentle sister of May McQueen (Gilbert). She was a wonderful and special aunt to many nieces and nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Minerva was predeceased by her sisters Edith Pearce and Helen Hogg and by her brothers Hugh and Jack. Daughter of the late Alexander and Gertrude VanKoughnet. She was a true friend to so many. The family would like to express a very special thank you to the nursing staff and volunteers of Campbell House for their expert care and for making them feel at home. A funeral service will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House would be appreciated by the family.
