BAKALAR, Molly (Marlene) – August 4, 1937 – September 10, 2016 After a courageous battle with cancer, Molly passed away peacefully at Toronto East General Hospital on September 10, 2016. Predeceased by her husband, Bill Bakalar. She leaves behind her four children, Richard, Keith, Joyce and Shawn. Loving grandmother to Christopher, Keith and Kelly and great-grandmother to Lucyian, Christopher and Kellan. Also blessed with many nieces and nephews. Molly had been a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion. She served as both a member and an Executive Officer as well as being President of the Seniors’ Club for many years. Visitation will be held at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home Scarborough, 2900 Kingston Road, M1M 1N5, on Thursday, September 15th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. On October 15, 2016 at 2 p.m. there will be a full Legion service and celebration of life at Branch 614 Royal Canadian Legion, 100 Salome Drive, Toronto ON M1S 2A8. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Royal Canadian Poppy Fund.
