Ellis Kin Wai Yu passed away at age 74 at her home in Toronto on Friday, April 28, 2017. She is survived by her mother, Mei Fong Chuing, older sister Kin Ying, younger brother Francis, son Michael, daughter-in-law Carrie, daughter Pearl, son-in-law Robin, grandsons William, Alexander and Quinn as well as nephews and nieces. Pre-deceased by her father, William Yu, older brother, older sister and younger brother Peter.
Born in Shanghai, China, Ellis immigrated to Canada in 1974. She always loved social gatherings with family and friends. A devoted daughter, sister, mother and grandmother whose warm personality and easygoing nature will be missed by all.
