KOPVILLEM, Nelda “Memme” —
April 16, 1929 – July 6, 2016
We are so terribly sad to announce the passing of our dear “Memme,” Nelda Kopvillem. Cherished by her children, Nelda was tragically predeceased by her son Peeter Kopvillem not two months ago. She will be sorely missed by her daughter Katrin Kopvillem and daughter-in-law Eva Varangu, her adoring grandchildren Andrus, Kaili and Toivo Heyduck, Leiki and Keila Kopvillem, along with many family members and friends. Nelda will be interred beside her beloved husband of 47 years, Olaf, who passed away in 1997.
Our Memme was truly an original and a constant source of fun and laughter and her passing leaves a void in our family that we will never be able to fill. We will miss her always, but she has left us a lifetime of wonderful stories to share that will give us joy forever.
The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Sunday, July 17th for the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. In Nelda’s memory, we would very much appreciate donations to either the Estonian Foundation of Canada www.estonianfoundation.ca (416.465.5600) or The Lung Transplant and Palliative Care programs at Toronto General Hospital www.tgwhf.ca (416.603.6278) in lieu of flowers.
