Joseph Victor NOAD
NOAD, Joseph Victor Passed away on September 23rd in his 104th year. Predeceased by his wife Geraldine. He will be missed by his sons Donald (the late Glenna), and Garth (Joanne). Proud Papa to Melissa, Matthew, Meaghan, Hilary, Tyler, Melinda, Pierre, and Conor. Predeceased by his brother Arthur and his sister Bernice. He will also be missed by his caring friends at Amica. Victor was born in Toronto and grew up working in his father’s grocery stores. He was a graduate of the University of Toronto and a Veteran of WWII with the R.C.A.F. He will be remembered as a dedicated teacher by his students at Westdale Secondary, Central Collegiate, and Sir John A. MacDonald. In his retirement, he loved to travel, and enjoyed his time on the shores of Georgian Bay with his family and friends. He had been an active member for many years with Binkley United Church and The Hamilton Optimist Club. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME “Swackhamer Chapel” , 195 King Street West, Dundas on Tuesday, September 27th from 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 28th at 11 a.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.
