MURPHY, Olive Hazel (nee Ellwood) Peacefully on March 5, 2017 at the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington in her 97th year. Reunited with her late husband Edward. Loving mother of Sandra Jamieson (Dean) and David. Proud grandmother of Jeremy (Erin), Marissa, Alicia (Cobi) and Zack; great-grandmother to Lily. Sadly missed by Andrena. Survived by her sister Veda Campbell. Remembered lovingly by many nieces, nephews and extended family. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the wonderful staff of Joseph Brant Hospital 3 East and 3 West. A special thank you to Nurse Peggy (‘Nurse Ratched’), and the staff of Carpenter Hospice for their care and compassion on our Mom’s final journey. Visitation will be held at the DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME-BURLINGTON CHAPEL (2241 New Street at Drury Lane 905-637-5233) on Thursday, March 9 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service to take place at Appleby United Church, (4407 Spruce Avenue, Burlington) on Friday, March 10 at 11 a.m., with Reception to follow in the Church Hall.
