ONTARIO SARRACINI It is with sincere sorrow that we announce the passing of Ontario Sarracini in his 93rd year. Proud member of the Italian Community who formed lifelong friendships as a radio and television personality and also as a pioneer of the travel industry. Beloved husband of the late Anna Sarracini. Dear father of Christina and Anthony (Frida). Loving grandfather of Jason (Athena), Tania (Kevin) and Natasha (Aidan) and cherished great-grandfather to Iole, Antimo, Charlie, Luma, Lalena and Ella. Predeceased by his four siblings; Pierina, Eni, Vittorio and Giuliano. A very special thank you to caregivers Angeline Rongo and Mary Bacani. The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Rd. East (west of Bayview Ave.), on Tuesday, May 16th from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 17th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, May 18th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave. Vaughan). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Baycrest Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
