ASHTON, Owen William Dale October 9, 1979- June 21, 2017 It is with unbearable sadness we announce the passing of our only child, Owen. Owen died of a massive stroke on June 21, 2017 at the Hamilton General Hospital. Owen is the much loved son of Barry and Val Ashton. Dear nephew of John and Cathy Duffield, Roxanne Ashton, Bob and Sandra Ashton and Great-Auntie Paula of Syracuse, NY, also his states Aunties. He will be greatly missed by his cousins Jeff, Kristen, Tiffany, Brad, Lisa and Russ. Owen is predeceased by his grandparents Ed and Helen Gazley and George and Helen Ashton and Auntie Pat. Owen leaves many friends to mourn his death including friends from Ellicottville, NY. He will be deeply missed by Prince Rupert, his canine best friend. Owen has suffered terribly, mentally and physically from his jeep accident in February 2002. We are deeply saddened by his passing, but we know he is free from pain and suffering.
