MARCOCCHIO, Paolina Peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Pietro Marcocchio. Loving mom of Lola and her husband Jim and of Clara and her husband Flavio. Cherished nonna of Emily, Sarah, Adam and Elyse. Greatly missed in Australia by her brother Vittorino and his wife Danila, sister-in-law Maud, and by sister-in-law Clementina of Welland. Paolina will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada, Australia and Italy, especially first cousin Relina. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the ICU at Humber River Hospital and to all the staff at Chartwell Scarlett Heights – especially to the 2nd Floor. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd, (North of Lawrence Ave. W.), Weston, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Road, Etobicoke, on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
