Pasquale “Pat” DI BERARDO
DI BERARDO, Pasquale “Pat” Surrounded by his loving family, Pat passed unexpectedly on January 29, 2017 at the age of 76. He is now in the arms of his angel Pia. Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Lodina, and his brother Giulio. Deeply cherished by his loving wife Ellie. Pat was a devoted and proud father to Michael and Genniene Di Berardo, Laura and Leon Torelli and Lisa and Robert Virga. Nonno Pat found much joy, pride and happiness in his grandchildren Gabriella, Alessandro, Piercen, Vanessa and Julian. He is survived by his sister Gina and her husband Cesidio. Pat’s infectious smile and vibrant personality will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. He lived life to the fullest, enjoying many family gatherings, tending to his garden and pool, and making his wine and pasta sauce. Pat was always ready for another cruise. His other passion was sharing his musical talent which touched so many people throughout his life. Pat is a retired Mechanical Engineer from Stelco who went on to consult with several large industrial companies. Visitation for Pat will be held at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 1 p.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum.
