It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Phillip, son of the late Peter and Theopie, at home on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the age of 63. Cherished and beloved husband of Susan (nee Greenwood) and proud loving father of Jennifer (Anthony), Lauren (Matthew) and Krystal (Brad). Proud and playful Papa, adored by Grace, Noah, Eve, Luke and soon to be born baby boy. Devoted brother, treasured by George, loved and admired brother-in-law of Pamela and the late Murray (Lynne). Sadly missed by his niece and nephews. Overwhelming gratitude for the altruistic gift that prolonged Phillip’s life. Heartfelt thanks to the caring doctors, nurses and support teams. Always remembered for his wise guidance and kind generous heart, Phillip loved being surrounded by his family. Relying on his positivity, Phillip courageously met all challenges and with determination lived life to the fullest. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13th. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, June 14th at 11 o’clock.
